Lead 3D Environment & Technical Artist at Warpfrog, making games for standalone headsets and PCVR.
● Initially contracted by WarpFrog to work on popular VR physics sandbox game Blade and Sorcery as an environment and technical artist, leading to a permanent role as Lead Environment Artist a year later.
● Responsibilities include creating environments in Unity with a full 3D art pipeline, managing artists, delegating tasks, addressing technical issues, optimizing, establishing workflows and best practices, writing documentation, and working closely with other project leads.
● Technical oversight of rendering and optimization for environments, characters, and shaders, ensuring good performance on low-end platforms like Meta Quest 2 and 3.
● Lighting and optimization for over 100 individual 3D environments.
